Brief Verse Interpretation / Tafsir
This verse reminds us that we are always in need of the mercy and grace of Allah. It is because of Allah’s Mercy in this world and the next that can provide us the relief. If He had not favored us, we would have been greatly punished for the sins we indulge in everyday.

“And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy in this world and the Hereafter, you would have been touched for that [lie] in which you were involved by a great punishment” Quran (Surah Nur, 14)
