Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) and Quran Revelation – Surah Taha Verse 114, Quran
Allah is the highest, the Sovereign, and the Truth. In this verse Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was advised not to be hasty in reciting the Holy Quran before the revelation is completed by the Angel Gibrael. He is also advised to ask Allah to increase his knowledge. This is also a good dua (supplication) for those asking to increase their knowledge.
“So high [above all] is Allah , the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur’an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” Quran (Surah Taha, 114)
