If someone runs after this life, Allah will provide Him from that but then that person will not have a share from the hereafter. Accordingly, those who work for the hereafter, Allah increases their motivation for the hereafter.
“Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter – We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world – We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share.” Quran (Surah Shoora, 20)
