Accountability and Punishment is Postponed- Surah Nahl Verse 61 Quran
Brief Verse Interpretation / Tafsir
In this verse we learn that if Allah wanted to punish the wrongdoers in the earth, not a single creature would have been alive on the earth because we all have sinned at some point of our lives. So, the accountability and the punishment is postponed until later. Allah has written a lifespan for everyone and when that hour comes, none can escape it.
“And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].” Quran (Surah Nahl, 61)
