Acting without evidence

This piece of writing first defines what taqleed is, that is, following an Imam blindly without having any evidence of whether what they are doing is right or not. There are certain problems related to this practice which are mentioned in this for example the muqallid being aware of the reality and being ignorant of a big part of religion. A number of instances mentioned from Islamic history of different caliphs who although, had a lot of know, still told people that there could be something wrong in what they say.
