A very pertinent question. The message conveyed in the speech is simple and clear. There can be no doubt about its effectiveness as well. Still why does it become difficult for many Muslims to live that message? Are we too lazy to make the required effort? Are we so enamored by this world that we can't think of making a few personal sacrifices that might be required in practicing the virtues encouraged by Islam? Are we blinding ourselves to the stark reality of the brevity of this life and the eternity of the life of the Hereafter? May Allah Grant all Muslims of the world the right perspective and May He (Subhanahu wa Ta'la) reward those who shared this speech with us with His Blessings, for awakening us.
